APSR / Geoffrey Bush Paediatric Young Investigator Award

This Award is offered for one of the best paediatric papers accepted for presentation at the APSR Congress in Taipei 29 November – 2 December 2018.

This award is named in honour of Geoffrey Bush, composer and performer, whose music lives on many years after his death.

This award is generously provided by Geoffrey Bush's son, Dr Andrew Bush, for the advancement of paediatric research by an APSR Young Investigator from an Asia-Pacific LMIC* who is presenting original work at the APSR Congress.

Dr Bush is Professor of Paediatrics and Head of Section (Paediatrics, Imperial College London), Professor of Paediatric Respirology, National Heart and Lung Institute, and Consultant Paediatric Chest Physician, Royal Brompton Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.

Where the paper has more than one author, the $500 and invitation to the social event will be for one of the authors, selected by the paper's senior author. The certificate will be in the name of all the paper's authors.
