Both award and grant applications should be made through My APSR 2018 online abstract submission system.
APSR 2018 offers abstract submitters the following awards. The application will be cancelled if there is any violation.
Outstanding work by abstract presenters will be considered for a limited number of Travel Awards. The highly-coveted award will be offered based on the scientific merit of the submitted abstracts. At least 75% of these awards available will be reserved to help support investigators from low-income countries to participate at the Congress. This award is eligible for international travelers only.
Outstanding work by abstract presenters under the age of 40 years at the time of the Congress. This highly-coveted award will be offered based on the scientific merit of the submitted abstract. The presenting author of the abstract under consideration will be required to provide official documentary proof of age.
The APSR shall determine 2 awardees under 35 years at the time of abstract submission, based on abstracts submitted by their members to the APSR Congress.
The following awards will be determinate by APSR head office for selected outstanding work under the categories of paediatric, COPD, respiratory structure and function, and lung cancer. Applicants should be APSR members under the age of 40 from a low and middle-income country.
All application needs to be made while submitting your abstract. No late application can be made afterward.
The applicant must be presenting author of the abstract at APSR 2018.
The applicant should not be receiving travel funds from other sources.
The accepted abstract cannot be published before APSR 2018.
The winner of either must register with full payment in advance. The registration fee will be reimbursed during Congress dates.
The winner must present with an oral or a poster by themselves during Congress dates. No substitution is allowed.
