- General Information
- Opportunity to organize a Sponsored Symposium, up to 60 minutes allocated during the lunch or dinner time.
- Sponsored Symposia are organized and entirely supported by industry; sponsored Symposia details will be included in the Final Programme.
- Sponsored Symposia Include
- Fee includes one Eblast sent from congress official email, room rental, standard audio visual equipment and display table.
- 10 badges per session with company name only for company staff to access. The badge allow access to its own Sponsored Symposium and shall be used by company staff only.
- In addition to the support fees, the company must cover all speakers'/chairs expenses including registration, accommodation and travel costs. This also applies where the speakers/chairs have already been invited by the APSR 2018.
- Company also need to cover F&B costs of lunch or dinner; number of meal boxes will be suggested by the Congress but decided/ordered by the company.
- Application and Booking
- The sponsoring company can request a specific timeslot and session room with their application and payment. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to re-allocate the session to ensure balance and continuity with the main programme.
- Rules and Regulations
- Symposia proposals should consist of a main title, 2 or 3 individual lecture titles, speaker names and chairs. 1 speaker and 1 chair shall be suggested by the APSR 2018 while the rest invited by the company shall come from USA & Europe.
- Both chair and speaker can only appear once across all Sponsored Symposia Sessions.
- The sponsoring company can submit a full proposal or ask for support by the APSR 2018 Scientific Committee; an early contact via Congress secretariat is recommended.
- The number of activities as speaker or chair by a particular person accross APSR 2018 is limited to 3. In order to help the company in the planning of Sponsored Symposia, an updated list of speakers already committed in the APSR 2018 Programme will be provided.
- Not more than 1 speaker must come from Taiwan.
- Agenda of Symposia is subject to the approval of the APSR 2018 Scientific Committee.
- Portable decoration with the Symposia titles and company logos inside/in front of session room or its own exhibition booth is allowed; beyond that no posters, signages, or distributions of materials are allowed in and around the Congress venue.
Workshops – 29 November only
Morning Session: US$20,000
Afternoon Session: US$25,000
- General Information
- Opportunity to co-organize a half-day workshop on the opening date (29th November), for either morning or afternoon time slot.
- Details of the workshop will be included in the Final Programme.
- All workshops signups must via APSR 2018 online registration system.
- Workshop Include

Social events
Welcome Reception (Exclusive): US$10,000
The Welcome Reception will take place at the TICC directly after the official Opening Ceremony. The Welcome Reception will provide a networking opportunity for delegates prior to scientific sessions commencing the following day.

Gala Dinner (per table): US$2,500
- 2 free admission trickets per table for sponsor.

Coffee Break Area: US$5,000
- Company logo will appear on signage at coffee break area during the break time.
- Company can distribute their own brochures during the sponsored break time.
Congress Tour (Exclusive): US$3,000
All delegates are invited to sign up for the Congress Tour visiting selected local attractions at an additional charge (if applicable).
- Company logo on the event banner/table top cards on all food & beverage stations.
- Company will be responsible for organizing the tour programme with pre-approval from the Congress.
- Opportunity to company's product information on the handhold placards (provided by the Company) alongside the Congress logo and tour itinerary.
- All expenses related to the tour including but not limited to the costs on transportation, tour guide, food & beverage and insurance etc. should be covered by the company.
- Insurance is required for all tour participants.
- Company is responsible to create a registration page to collect all the information. APSR 2018 Secretariat will send the link to registrants two months prior to the Congress.
Unconditional International Speaker: US$10,000
Seleciton of the speaker and content of the presentation will be determinted by the Scientific Committee and subject to approval from the selected speaker.

- Accommodation other than the official hotel selected by the Contgress will be charged additionally.
Poster (or e-poster) Area (limited to 2): US$10,000
- Company logo displayed on each poster board.

VIP Lounge/Speaker Ready Room (Exclusive): US$12,000
- Company can decorate the room at its own expense.
- Company logo will appear on signage at the entrance to the VIP lounge/speaker ready room and on screensavers at each workstation.
- Opportunity to set company homepage as the default homepage.
- Opportunity to provide items with company's logo on at each workstation. Such as, company's mouse pads.
Company will be responsible for design, production and delivery to TICC. Designs and provided items MUST be approved by the Congress prior to production.
Advertisement in Final Programme – inside page: US$3,000

- According to Pharmaceutical Affairs Act on advertising, for publishing medication advertisement, pharmaceutical firms shall, before publishing, submit all texts, drawings or pictures constituting an advertisement to the central or municipal competent health authority for approval, and shall forward the approval to the Congress for verification.

- Delegates who wish to acess the internet via their own laptop/smartphone may do so by using the Congress Wi-Fi. Company will receive strong visibility during the Congress.

Charging Station (Exclusive): US$10,000
Charging Station will be set up at a specific area at TICC and will allow delegates to power up their electronic devices for free.

Exhibition
Shell Scheme Booth: 1F (3 m x 3 m), 2F (3 m x 2 m)
Early rate (by 28 December 2017): US$7,500
Standard rate: US$9,000
- Minimum size for Shell Scheme booth is 9 square meter on floor 1 or 6 square meter on floor 2.
- Fees include 2 exhibitor badges, shell scheme frame with carpet, basic lighting, fascia panel with standard lettering, one electrical socket (110V/500W), 1 table & 2 chairs, 50-word company profile in the Final Programme and cleaning of public areas and gangways.
- The height of the shell scheme booth including all displays cannot exceed 2.5M; companies are permitted to decorate under this height.
- Acknowledgements include listing as exhibitor on the official Congress website and company logo appear on the exhibition signage onsite.
- All exhibitors are required to register and will receive a badge displaying company name. Companies will receive 2 free exhibitor badges per unit; additional badge cost @ US$50 with the maximum of 2 additional badges per unit.
General Regulations for Exhibitors
Exhibitor badge regulations:
- Exhibitor badge allow access to the exhibition area and Welcome Reception alongside Opening Ceremony and shall be used by company personnel only.
- Badges are required to access the venue during congress dates. Any loss of badge will be charge of US$100 for reproduction.
- Only exhibitor badges are allowed to access the exhibition area during move-in and dismantling time.
- Exhibitors undertake to aware the timetable designated for completion of their display before the exhibition opening and its dismantling at close of the exhibition. No dismantling or packing of the display before designated hours are allowed.
- It is the exhibitors' responsibility to pack and remove or consign for shipment all items of value prior to leaving their exhibit unattended, otherwise the organizer will arrange for their removal at the exhibitors' risk and expenses.
- Should the payment not be made on time, the organizer is entitled to terminate the contract, withdraw confirmation of acceptance, make other arrangements for non-fulfilment of contract.
- Exhibition areas and fittings made available to exhibitors must be handed back in their original condition. In case of damage or loss of equipment provided, or damage to areas occupied, repair and replacement will be charged to the exhibitor.
The APSR 2018 reserves the right at time for any reason whatsoever to:
- Change, shorten or extend the date of exhibitions.
- Change the venue or floor plan of exhibition.
Allocation Rules
- The company can specify a stand location on the enclosed application form, this will be confirmed before 31 May subject to availability and in the order of:
- Level of total sponsorship with 60% down payment
- First-come, first-served
- A ballot may be applied when all conditions are the same
- Starting from 1 June, the stand location will be confirmed subject to availability and upon completion of full payment at first-come first-served basis while a ballot may be applied if all conditions are the same.
Company Events and Promotional Activities
Exhibitors are not allowed to hold their own scientific meetings or social events inside or outside the Congress venue during APSR 2018. Promotional activities are only allowed within the exhibition and only as long as they do not interfere with the running of the Congress nor disturb the fellow exhibitors. Any scientific or product presentations talks are not permitted in the exhibition booth.
