Congress Format

Hybrid event: Both an in-person congress in Kyoto, Japan and a virtual congress through our dedicated online platform

In-person Congress in Kyoto:
The in-person congress will take place for one day only on November 20, 2021 at the Kyoto International Conference Center. Experience the rich, fruitful encounters, and vibrant atmosphere that only lectures held in a venue can offer. The decision to visit the venue will be left to the individual, but please follow government policy and adhere strictly to regulations (at this stage we do not encourage overseas visitors to the venue). In-person congress registrations will include free access to the virtual congress.

Virtual Congress:
The virtual congress will be available on November 20-21, 2021, for people who are certain that they will not be able to travel to Kyoto due to the pandemic or its economic impact. The most comprehensive and complete scientific programme devoted to respirology delivered directly to your living room, office, or terrace. The choice is yours. All scientific programmes including sessions held in-person at the venue will be streamed. Delegates will also be able to visit our Exhibition Area, talk with industry staff (via chat, call, or videocall), with practical demos at the private hospitality suites of each company.

On-demand Online Platform:
In-person/virtual congress registrations will include free access to the on-demand online platform, accessible until December 2021, with all scientific content available as on-demand contents.
