APSR Assembly Virtual Meeting
Abstract submission guidelines

These abstract submission guidelines relate to the APSR Assembly Virtual Meetings (AVMs) which were held in November 2020. They are copied from the temporary website apsr.info which was used for the AVMs. They are reproduced here for posterity, and hopefully useful for APSR assemblies organising similar events in the future.

The following may differ from future abstract submission guidelines for symposia and congresses.

Abstract submission closed on 7 September 2020 and notification of acceptance was emailed around the end of September 2020.

To ensure a good balance of content at the Meeting, the positioning of a presentation in the programme will be determined by the content of other presentations, sponsorship availability, etc.

Abstract Submitter

Submitters must be the first authors who can present the abstract in person at APSR Assembly Virtual Meeting

Anyone interested in presenting an abstract at APSR Assembly Virtual Meeting can submit an abstract. If the submitted abstract is selected for presentation, the presenting author without APSR membership is required to join the APSR.

A submitter can submit one abstract ONLY.

Notifications

Only the first author will receive abstract correspondence and the presentation confirmation which will be sent by email. The first author is responsible for informing the co-authors about the status of the submitted abstract.
